City-wide gas buses
As an additional mobility measure, the city of Tartu has purchased 64 brand new biogas buses to serve the public transportation network. In 2019, Tartu achieved its aim of running 100% of public transportation buses on biogas. As such, Tartu is moving towards becoming the first city in Estonia to transform its entire public transport network into a more environmentally friendly system.
